Brighouse has now opened a new counselling centre to help people address and overcome issues in their relationships and marriages. The centre, run by Relate Cross Pennine, has arrived when people and their relationships are under the most strain due to Covid-19 and the economy. The new centre will host face-to-face relationship counselling, sex therapy, children and young people's counselling, family counselling, telephone and virtual counselling.

On Friday 11th April, a launch event took place where staff and trustees showed the public around the new centre and talked about the difference it will make. The Mayor of Bighouse, local councillors and other community leaders attended and learnt more about the charities’ work.
